Cllr Phil Wynn, Lead Member for Education and Early Intervention said: “I would like to offer my congratulations to all students across Wrexham, who are receiving their A-Level results today . The results being achieved reflect the hard work, commitment and resilience shown by our young people throughout their studies.
“Everyone involved should be immensely proud of their achievements. For many students, today marks the successful start of the next chapter in their lives, whether that is progressing to university, higher education, apprenticeships, vocational training, or employment. I wish everyone every success as they take their next steps in pursuing their ambitions.
“I also want to recognise that results day can bring mixed emotions. For some students, the grades received may not be what they were hoping for or may leave them uncertain about their intended plans. If this is the case, I would strongly encourage them to speak with their teachers, careers advisers and family members before making any decisions.
“There is a great deal of advice and support available, and there are often more options and opportunities than may first appear. Whatever your results today, they do not define your worth or your potential. There are many pathways to success, and with the right guidance and determination, there are always opportunities to achieve your goals.
“On behalf of Wrexham County Borough Council, I would like to wish all our students the very best for the future and to thank our schools, colleges and families for the important role they continue to play in supporting our young people to achieve their aspirations.”
