New Year 2021

“As we end 2020 I wanted to take time to thank you all for your hard work during what has been a very difficult and challenging year. The last few months have been unbelievable but we have all found the strength and resilience to continue to make the best of the circumstances in order to keep ourselves and our communities safe.

“Sadly though, people have been lost to this virus and I offer my sincere condolences to those of you who begin this new year with absent family members, colleagues or friends.

“Whilst it’s been hard we begin 2021 with renewed hope. Two vaccines have been approved and are being rolled out to the most vulnerable amongst us. This will continue through the coming months but it will take some time before we can restore the freedoms that have been lost and I ask you all to continue to remain vigilant and to stay safe.

“I wish you all a happy and safe new year and can assure you all that I will continue to work with my colleagues and officers at Wrexham Council to keep Wrexham safe.”
