A treat of an evening coming up for historical fiction readers…

If you’re a fan of historical fiction you’ll enjoy this treat that’s taking place as part of Wrexham’s Carnival of Words as you’ll get two shows for the price of one.

ARTS, MARKETS, COMMUNITY EVENTS – GET NEWS FROM TŶ PAWB STRAIGHT TO YOUR INBOX.

Firstly a panel of four fabulous authors – Angus Donald, Matthew Harffy, E M Powell and Deborah Swift – will fight their corners in the “My Era is Better than Yours” Champions League.

Secondly Alison Weir, the top selling female historian in the UK and who has sold over 2.7 million books worldwide will be talking about her latest novel Anna of Kleve: Queen of Secrets!

She’s published eighteen history books including Elizabeth the Queen, Eleanor of Aquitane, The Lady in the Tower and Elizabeth of York and 7 historical novels!

The event takes place at the Nick Whitehead Theatre, Wrexham Glyndwr University on Friday 3 May at 7pm. Tickets cost £8.
