Local Access Forum

We’re looking to reform our Local Access Forum (LAF) and are now looking for members from across Wrexham county borough to represent their communities and organisations about important issues relating to public rights of way, land management and conservation of the natural beauty of the specific areas.

The views of the forum will influence local, regional and national issues, and will involve discussions with local authority, government and other bodies, such as Natural Resources Wales.

A forum member should represent:

  • users of local access land and local rights of way
  • owners and occupiers of access land and land with rights of way
  • other interests especially relevant to the area

If you fall into any of the above categories and would like to attend our first meeting in January where we will provide information about the group and give you an opportunity to see whether you would like to be involved moving forward, or if you would like some more information please contact laf@wrexham.gov.uk.
