20th November 2023 – 4.30pm – 7.30pm in Tŷ Pawb Market St, Wrexham LL13 8BB

Monday 20th November marks World Children’s Day which celebrates children’s rights and this year is the fourth year that we’ve celebrated the event by hosting a free event for children, young people and families to enjoy.

There will be lots of free entertainment and activities including magic, circus skills, bugs, music, face painting, balloon modelling and much more.

We also have the pleasure of meeting Wales Children’s Commissioner Rocio Cifuentes who will be opening the event at 4.30pm and both the Commissioner and the Mayor, Councillor Andy Williams, will be taking part in a certificate presentation at 6pm.

Everyone’s invited to come along with family and friends to enjoy the activities and celebrate World Children’s Day.

World Children’s Day is an annual event

Cllr Rob Walsh, Lead Member for Children’s Services, said, “This is becoming a popular event on Wrexham’s calendar as young people, their friends and families all come together to celebrate young people and to promote their welfare and rights.

“Everyone is very welcome and a good time by all taking part is guaranteed.”
