The information you give helps decide how services are planned and funded in your local area. This could mean things like doctors’ surgeries, housing or new bus routes.
So this is an opportunity to get involved in something really important. The census is a survey about all of us. Your help and enthusiasm is needed to encourage everyone in England and Wales to participate.
Nothing else gives so much detail about the society in which we live, helping to make decisions with the potential to transform lives for the better.
