World Book Day is fast approaching and Wrexham Library will be once again offering a Fancy Dress swap!

How does it work?More information

If you have any children’s fancy dress costumes that don’t fit your child anymore, or won’t be used again, then donating it to the swap is a great way to make sure it doesn’t go to waste.

How does it work?

If you bring your unwanted costumes into Wrexham Library before Saturday, February 22, 2025 you’ll receive a token that can be used to pick up a replacement costume at the Swap Days over half term.

The token means you can choose a costume donated by other swappers to take home and keep for free! Don’t worry if you don’t want to get another costume though, you can pass your token on to someone who might need it instead.

Eisteddfod Wrecsam 2025

Costumes need to be clean, in good condition and suitable for primary school children.

The swap days will be held from Monday, February 24 until Saturday, March 1 (if you’re donating you’ll need to have brought your costume in before February 22 to get your token).

At the end of the Fancy Dress Swap Days any leftover costumes will be donated to charity.

If you would like any more information about this event please contact the library directly – email library@wrexham.gov.uk or call 01978 292090.
