Chill out with Ice Carving at Wrexham Museum

There’s a really cool event taking place at Wrexham Museum on Thursday 14 December between 3pm and 8pm.

Simon O’Rourke, popular woodcarver,  will be creating a fabulous ice carving on the Museum Forecourt.

Sponsored by Wrexham Lager, it looks to be a really chilled out event with some great prizes to be won as well.

It will be a chance to relax and enjoy yourself as you can get some food from the Museum cafe, shop in the Museum shop and taste some delicious local food from Mrs Picklepot, Sabor Damor, Veggie Fayre Brownies and more.

Simon said “I’m really excited to be carving ice in Wrexham, it’s something that hasn’t been seen before in the town and it’s looking like it’ll be a cool show!”

Tickets are just £2.50 per adult or £5 for a family (2 adults and up to 3 children) which are available from the Museum or online at www.thisiswrexham.co.uk. There’s also a chance to win a free tour around Wrexham Brewery and 12 bottle of their lager – one for each day of Christmas.
