There are many different types of important jobs…far too many to list 🙂

Is this something you could do?Are you up for the task?

However, there aren’t many jobs more important than having the responsibility for children and pedestrians safely crossing our roads during the busiest parts of the day.

Is this something you could do?

We have two jobs that you can apply for. Firstly, we’re looking for cover for our School Crossing Patrol at Llay, Wrexham and we also need cover for Bryn Tabor, Coedpoeth, Wrexham. Both posts are for ten hours per week, during term time, at the start and end of the school day.

COULD YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THE LIFE OF A CHILD IN CARE?

Working for us, and the Community Council, you’ll be the face people see at the beginning and end of their school day, so you need a warm, friendly personality which you’ll use to put a smile on people’s faces as you safely help them to cross the road.

But you’ll also be disciplined and you’ll need tact and sensitivity about how you deal with certain situations.

A good understanding of the Highway Code and some experience of working with children would be advantageous, but relevant training will be provided.

We want to make sure we find the right person, who’s reliable and will represent us in a positive way 🙂

Are you up for the task?

If so, we’d love to hear from you. To hear a bit more about these posts, you can call 01978 729606.

Or to view the full job descriptions and apply, click on the link below.

The closing date for both jobs is Friday, May 17.
