Elmer at the library!

Everyone’s favourite patchwork elephant will be the star of the week at Wrexham Library this May half term as he celebrates his 30th birthday.

During half term week there will crafts and games galore and children can make Elmer bunting and Elmer ears, pinning the trunk on Elmer as well as an Elmer-themed treasure hunt.

COULD YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THE LIFE OF A CHILD IN CARE?

There will also be two Elmer story times – May 28, 2-2.30pm and May 30, 2-2.30pm (bilingual) – for you to truly enjoy the Elmer tales.

British author, David McKee’s Elmer turns 30 on May 25, after being first published in 1989. Since then has been a firm favourite in millions of households across the world.

Elmer encourages children to accept others’ differences, and be tolerant and kind.

Why not come along dressed in your brightest colours and join us for a celebration of everyone’s favourite patchwork elephant!
