To celebrate Fostering Fortnight, our Foster Care team is holding an information event at Tŷ Pawb on Tuesday, May 14.

Could you improve the future of a child in care?Fostering Fortnight

The event is for anyone thinking about becoming a Foster Carer or anyone who would like a bit more information about what fostering is all about.

Could you improve the future of a child in care?

In Wrexham, we will be holding an information and drama event at Tŷ Pawb on Tuesday, May 14, 3.30-7pm. Anyone can pop along to this free event to find out more about foster carers and how you can become a foster carer yourself.

Refreshments will also be provided.

COULD YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THE LIFE OF A CHILD IN CARE?

The event will include a young people’s drama created with Cat’s Paw theatre entitled “Tonight’s gonna be a good night”.

Social workers and experts will be on hand to answer your questions as well as foster carers who will be able to tell you first-hand what it is like to foster children.

Those who may not have previously looked at fostering will also be able to take advantage of the advice on offer from trained officers and former carers.

Foster carers create safe and nurturing homes for children and young people and in Wrexham we need more people to show an interest.

Fostering Fortnight

Running from May 13 until May 26, Foster Care Fortnight will ask those who may have been considering fostering for some time to see what they can provide children in need of care and support.

Foster Care Fortnight is The Fostering Network’s annual campaign to raise the profile of fostering and to show how foster care transforms lives. It is also the UK’s biggest foster carer recruitment campaign.
