Free Lunchtime Concerts Continue at Tŷ Pawb

Did you know that every Thursday between 1pm and 2pm a free concert takes place at Tŷ Pawb?

ARTS, MARKETS, COMMUNITY EVENTS – GET NEWS FROM TŶ PAWB STRAIGHT TO YOUR INBOX.

The Live Music Showcase Recital Concerts are very popular and quite often its standing room only – when you see line up you’ll appreciate why that is. They’re designed to promote local music talent across the musical spectrum.

They offer a range of music ranging from the stage and screen and popular classical through to folk, jazz, rhythm and blues.

The events are free but donations are welcome to enable further live music events to take place at this exciting venue.

There’s no need to book, just take a look below to find a concert that takes your fancy and get yourself down to Tŷ Pawb.

Schedule of Live Music Recital Concerts, Spring and Summer 2019

  • May 2  Henry Soper, Piano and Saxophone
  • May 9  David Jones, Piano, Schuman, Godoowsky, Rachmaninoff and Liszt
  • May 16  Achille Jones, Classical guitar with guest Sophie Darling
  • May 23  Vera Van Heeringen, Vocal and Guitar
  • May 30  Shonagh Douglas, Bagpipes
  • June 6  Nick Malings, Piano
  • June 13  Brian and Jeremy Healt, Piano Duo with a programme of music by Mozart, Poulenc, Debussy
  • June 20  Rachel Marsh and Friends, Vocal with Daniel Bradford on Piano – tune in to “Summertime and the Livin is Easy” for this session
  • June 27  Max Hixon, Vocals and Guitar
  • July 4  Llangollen IME Visiting Choirs, A choral/instrumental treat
  • July 11 Caroline Morris and Friends, Piano and Woodwind
  • July 18  Anthony Mitchell, Classical Guitar
  • July 25  Elias Ackerley and Friends, Instrumental

Derek Jones, Chair of the Advisory Board and organiser of the Recital Concerts, said: “We have been very pleased with the reception the performers have received on Thursdays and we are delighted that the area is regularly packed. We try to cater for all tastes and I can highly recommend a visit.”
