Free trading at Wrexham’s Monday Market until 29th December!

We’re pleased to announce that due to the success of last year’s free trading period at our Monday Outdoor Market, we will be running the scheme again this year.

The free trading period will run from Monday 28th April until the end of December.

Last year’s free trading period saw lots of interest from local and independent traders with visitors to the City Centre and market increasing.

It’s important to support city centre market traders

Cllr Nigel Williams, Lead Member for Economy, said, “We’re re-launching this initiative to help support our local outdoor market traders, as well as to grow our city centre offering.

“Traders previously appreciated the help we offered and visitors have appreciated the variety of stalls that were present in the city centre every Monday.

“It’s now important we continue to support all the city centre traders and the extended period of free trading will bring more visitors to see for themselves how the city is changing and what an excellent mix of businesses we have here.

You can find out more information about all our Wrexham markets by visiting our markets website.
