Cllr Phil Wynn, Lead Member for Education and Early Intervention said, “On behalf of everyone at Wrexham Council, I would like to offer our congratulations to all the young people across Wrexham receiving their GCSE results today.
“Today marks the end of an important chapter in your education and is an opportunity to reflect on the hard work, commitment, and resilience you have shown throughout your studies. Whatever your results, you should be proud of what you have achieved in reaching this milestone.
“For many of you, this is the beginning of an exciting new journey, whether that involves further education, training, an apprenticeship, employment or exploring new opportunities. I wish you every success and happiness as you take your next steps.
“I know that not everyone will receive the results they were hoping for today. If that is the case, please remember that one set of exam results does not define your future. There are many different pathways to success, and support is available to help you explore your options and decide on the best route forward.
“Whatever your results, take a moment to recognise how far you have come. We are incredibly proud of all our learners and look forward to seeing what you achieve in the years ahead.”
“Llongyfarchiadau, and very best wishes for the future.”
