Ladies – it’s time to get moving!

Getting outdoors and running as the nights slowly start drawing in can be difficult, and it’s even less encouraging when the weather starts to turn.

Do you think you could benefit from a bit of company when running? Someone to help you keep motivated and stay the course.

And maybe you’d also find some training useful?

KIDS IN SCHOOL? FIND OUT IF YOU CAN APPLY FOR HELP TOWARDS SCHOOL UNIFORM COSTS AND MORE…

Get Out, Get Active – the women-focused activity and fitness sessions organised by our Active Wrexham team and partners Freedom Leisure – will soon start a new series of 0 to 5k/Walk to Run sessions to help you stay fit through the autumn.

The sessions start at Queensway Leisure Centre, Wrexham, from Monday, September 10, with sessions continuing weekly every Monday.

Beginners can take to the track from 6.30pm until 7.30pm, with 5k graduates

First sessions are free, with a cost of £2 per session thereafter.

To book, or for any other enquiries, contact the Active Wrexham team by phone on 07976581243 or by e-mail at activewrexham@wrexham.gov.uk.

Booking is essential – so make sure you get in touch!
