Grab a bargain or have a clear-out! Make use of the re-use shop this Christmas…

Recycling is a great thing – and we’re not just talking about your empty cans, bottles and tins…

We’re talking sporting equipment, hoovers, prams, furniture, bikes, garden furniture, DVDs, Blu-rays, CD’s and other electrical items…to name but a few!

At Bryn Lane Recycling Centre, there’s a great shop where you can grab a bargain or donate some of your unwanted items – and get this…it all goes to a great local cause!

The re-use shop is run by Nightingale House Hospice, and on November 16, this wonderful Aladdin’s cave celebrated its two-year anniversary.

So if you want some Christmas extras, go over and have a gander 🙂

Or if you’re in need of a de-clutter, you can send them your unwanted items…

Either way, you’re helping a great cause in Nightingale House, and also recycling perfectly good items – great stuff!

If you’re unfamiliar with the incredible work of Nightingale House; they provide care for the terminally ill and their families – completely free-of-charge, across a wide area stretching from Wrexham, Flintshire and East Denbighshire to Barmouth and the border towns, including Oswestry and Whitchurch.

All donated items will be cleaned and safety tested before being sold back at the re-use shop – and as you can see from our video, there’s plenty to choose from.

You can donate to the re-use shop at any of our three recycling centres. So our centres at Brymbo and Plas Madoc also have an area set aside for people to donate items.

If you’re unsure where these areas are, just give one of our attendants a shout, and they’ll be able to point you in the right direction.

Ok, that’s enough chit-chat – we’re off to grab a bargain. Catch you later 🙂

Never miss a bin collection – sign up for weekly email reminders now.
