Something spooky, paints and potions or a simple family game. Whatever you are looking for this half term, you can find it in many venues across the county borough.

Take a look at the list below and start planning…

October 26-November 2
Glitzy Witch Children’s Trail, starting from Chirk Library
9am-5pm
Glitzy Witch comes to Chirk to celebrate Halloween. Follow the witches hats, broomsticks and wands around Chirk, counting them as you go! Each one will have a letter so make sure that you go slow! Trail maps available from Chirk Library at a cost of 40p or you can like the Glitzy Witch Facebook page for a free map and free colouring sheets.

Play-Work
Tŷ Pawb’s gallery has been transformed into a huge indoor adventure playground as part of the exhibition Play-Work. It’s got everything for kids to enjoy what they do best – playing.

Eisteddfod Wrecsam 2025

Come and join our family arts and crafts event!! Every Saturday we will have an artist-led session for children and their families to explore our galleries and develop imagination and making skills. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information please contact 01978 292144.

Messy Museum Monday, Wrexham Museum
Session 1: 10.30-11.15am

Session 2: 11.30am-12.15pm
We advise you to bring a towel and spare clothing as this session is designed to be messy and we have limited cleaning facilities. These will be drop-in sessions. For more information please contact 01978 297460.
