Have you renewed your bus pass yet?

Many of you will have a concessionary travel card – bus pass – and are aware that you will have to renew the card by December 31 when your current card runs out.

Whilst many of you have already renewed your pass, quite a few of you haven’t. It could be that you’re just waiting for the rush to die down but it could also be that you were unaware that your card was going to expire.

Applying is very easy and there’s a very handy video produced by Transport for Wales that gives step by step instructions on how to do it.

“How can I help”

If you run a group that elderly people attend could you take the time to mention it to them and see if they need any help?

Whilst many elderly people are completely happy using a tablet, computer or phone not all have access to one.

So could you help someone you know apply online by using your device? It’s really quick and may save someone some distress at the thought of not being to get online. All that’s needed is the existing card number and their national insurance number.
