Over 2,800 of you have already taken part in our Difficult Decisions 2018-2020 budget consultation and we would like to say a big thank you for taking your time to do so.
If you haven’t already had your say there’s still time to make sure you let us know what you think of our proposals to save £13 million over the next two years.
It’s a lot of money and comes after we have already made cuts of £52 million since 2008. The proposals in the consultation set out how we would like to make these savings and we are very keen to hear your views.

Cllr Mark Pritchard, council leader, says in his introduction to the consultation that “we have to find ways to deliver the services that people need but with less money. This means taking some very tough decisions and it’s important you tell us what you think about some of the options on the table before we do that.”
The consultation closes on 30 November 2017 with a report going to Executive Board in January.
