Called Caffi Cyfle it’s run by Groundwork North Wales and provides a range of both healthy and sweet treats for a morning coffee, a quick lunch or a relaxing brunch to make your day a little brighter.

And if you’ve got little ones with you there’s a super soft play area that they’ll love to visit.

Caffi Cyfle

Their opening hours are

  • Monday – Thursday: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Friday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

The café also had a “5” food hygiene rating from the Foods Standards Agency – the highest that can be awarded.

Caffi Cyfle “the atmosphere is really sociable”

Cllr John Pritchard, Lead Member for Adult Social Care, said, “The Caffi Cyfle is a welcome addition to the facilities offered in the town centre and the staff go out of their way to provide healthy and sweet treats for everyone to enjoy.

“The atmosphere is really sociable and you can be sure that your little ones will have a great time in the play area.

“So, when you’re next in town why not pay them a visit and also find out what the Wellbeing Hub is all about and how it’s helping people of all ages to find the services they need.”

What is the Wellbeing Hub?

The Wellbeing Hub was created by a partnership of Wrexham County Borough Council, AVOW (Association of Voluntary Organisations in Wrexham) and Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

Services/sessions are run by social care teams, as well as by health providers, community groups and third sector organisations (including charities and not-for-profit groups).

Here they are able to provide their services in a safe environment to:

    • improve access to information, advice and support

    • deliver preventative and alternative solutions to care and support (covering physical health, mental health and wellbeing)

Since it opened in 2022 people of all ages from across the county borough have visited the Wellbeing Hub, which focuses on physical health, as well as mental health and wellbeing, in a safe environment.

It also has changing places toilet facilities and access to free period products so you can help yourself to what you need.
