What is the Wellbeing Hub?
The Wellbeing Hub was created by a partnership of Wrexham County Borough Council, AVOW (Association of Voluntary Organisations in Wrexham) and Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
Services/sessions are run by social care teams, as well as by health providers, community groups and third sector organisations (including charities and not-for-profit groups).
Here they are able to provide their services in a safe environment to:
- improve access to information, advice and support
- deliver preventative and alternative solutions to care and support (covering physical health, mental health and wellbeing)
Since it opened in 2022 people of all ages from across the county borough have visited the Wellbeing Hub, which focuses on physical health, as well as mental health and wellbeing, in a safe environment.
It also has changing places toilet facilities and access to free period products so you can help yourself to what you need.
