About KunekunesSponsor an animal at Tŷ Mawr

Staff at the country park were asked to take them in by a lady with a smallholding who saved them from the abattoir and they jumped at the chance having had these types of pigs before.

Called Taz and Toto they’re gorgeous boys who are full of character and absolutely love a back scratch and a scratch behind their ears.

About Kunekunes

Kunekune pigs hail from New Zealand and are friendly hairy pigs in various colours and they’re the smallest domesticated breed of pig. They have a lovely temperament and are very easily to handle.

So if you’re looking for somewhere to go and something different to see why not visit Tŷ Mawr and take a look at these gentle animals for yourself!
