Get your walking boots ready and mark your calendar for Sunday, October 20 as there’s a sponsored walkathon taking place in Mold to raise much needed funds for NEWCIS carers.

The day kicks off at 11am with a stunning walk through Loggerheads County Park. The walk begins near Caffi Florence where you can join NEWCIS and other supporters across the community to help make a difference to lives of carers across Flintshire, Denbighshire and Wrexham.

Your sponsorship helps NEWCIS to provide support, information and advice to our adult unpaid carers. Find out more about the support they offer.

You can choose your stride between a 5k walk (around 3 mile) or a gentler 3k walk (around 1.5 mile).

Before setting out remember to fuel up with complementary water and snacks and then celebrate your accomplishment on your return as NEWCIS honours generous sponsors and resilient carers, families and friends.

It’s a family and dog-friendly event, so join with kids and friends.

To register for the walk, or if you have any queries, please email jan@newcis.org.uk
