Walking around Wrexham you might notice a couple of changes this week.

If you’re taking a stroll through Llwyn Isaf during the evenings, you’ll see that the Guildhall balcony is being lit green until October 23.

And if you’re travelling along St Giles Way, you’ll notice our recycling ‘swoosh’ in the grass by the steel sculpture.

Both of these things have been done to raise awareness of Recycle Week 2022.

Cllr Hugh Jones, Lead Member for Environment, said: “We’re delighted to be once again adding our support to Recycle Week. This year the campaign focuses on one of the biggest barriers people have around recycling, which is the confusion about what can and can’t be recycled. It’s important to give people all the information they need so that can recycle correctly and confidently. We’ll be sharing recycling information throughout the week, and Wales Recycles have also set up the website RecycleWeekWales.org.uk which people can visit to get their recycling questions answered.”
