It’s that time of year again when the school uniform is tossed to the bottom of the laundry bin for a few weeks and families everywhere slap on some shorts and sunglasses to go out on the hunt for some summer fun!

Now is the ideal time to get down to Tŷ Pawb – Wrexham’s brand new arts, community and markets hub!

We’ve got a summer programme absolutely overflowing with events and activities for all ages!

So what’s happening?

You can download the full guide at the bottom of this page but here are some of the highlights, just to get you in the summer mood…

Family Film Club

Every Tuesday 10am-12pm, we’ll be showing a family film in our new theatre room. Films will include favorites and classics such as Disney’s Peter Pan, The Incredibles and Brave!

Each film will also be followed by a themed craft activity.

Food, drinks and treats will be available from our Food Court. Why not treat yourself to some ice cream, waffles, coffee, curry, even some tapas!

Free craft activities

We’ll have all sorts of craft activities taking place throughout the summer, including every Monday, 10am-12pm, when we’ll be running activities including magazine making, jigsaws, storytelling and build your own musical shakers and hanging mobiles!

Each activity will also include a tour around our galleries.

Make your own pizzas

On Wednesday, July 25, 2pm-3pm, Tŷ Pawb’s Plât Bach will be helping you to create your own pizza!

Live music

We’ll have some very special FREE performances for the whole family to enjoy!

On Friday, August 3, we’ll be joined by immensely talented local young performer Elan Catrin Parry, as she celebrates the release of her debut album ‘Angel’ with an exclusive free performance at Tŷ Pawb.

Every Wednesday throughout the holidays, 12pm-2pm (starting August 1), Megan Lee, a published recording artists and songwriter at just 14, will be performing for us. Not to be missed!

This is just the tip of the iceberg! We’ll also have drum & guitar workshops, dance sessions for children, pop art, board games, family reading sessions and plenty more arts and crafts!
