The powerful photographic exhibition “Equipped for Life” is now open for everyone to take a look at in Tŷ Pawb.
The images show several ex service personnel and how they coped once they were in civvy street – a transition some found easier than others.

“Meet former RAF serviceman Andy Matthews, from Wrexham”
There’ll be an official opening on Friday at 2.00pm when Andy Matthews, from Wrexham and ex RAF, will be on hand to chat with visitors. He’s one of the subjects in the photographs and after serving 14 years in the RAF he realised he wanted to do more in an advocacy role. He left the forces to take up studies at Glyndwr University here in Wrexham. He obtained a first class honours degree and an award for the most achieving student. Since leaving university he has started working for the third sector where he is Director of Operations.
Members of the public are more than welcome to attend this opening and have a chat with Andy. He’ll be available from 2pm on Friday in the Tŷ Pawb reception area by the Market Street entrance.
