The free caddy liners (for food waste recycling) and sacks (for paper and cardboard recycling) are now available in over 40 locations across the county borough, as we aim to make it even easier for residents to recycle in Wrexham.

So you can just pop into one of the local venues and collect the items for free when you need them.

FULL LIST OF PLACES YOU CAN GET FREE CADDY LINERS AND BLUE SACKS

Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member for Environment and Transport, said: “We always try to listen to our residents and this is why we’ve made the liners and sacks available in so many different places across Wrexham.

“If you need a replacement blue sack or run out of food caddy liners you can now easily collect them at one of the local stores, offices or centres that stock them for us. We hope this will be helpful to the many people who are already recycling, and we hope it encourages those residents who aren’t recycling to get involved.”

We’re continuing to add more locations to our extensive list, so if you see one of our posters at a venue whilst you’re out and about, you’ll be able to collect from there too.

Other ways to get caddy liners and blue sacks

Don’t forget, you can still get the free caddy liners by tying an empty liner to your caddy handle on your collection day and the recycling crew will leave you a new roll.

The recycling crews also carry blue sacks on their vehicle in case anyone needs one, so you can ask one of the team for a replacement the next time we’re collecting from your street.

Ordering new recycling boxes

If any of your recycling boxes get damaged or lost, you can order new ones for free here. If this is the case, we will get them out to you as soon as we can.
