Tattoo Cymru will return to the William Aston Hall on Saturday 5th September 2026, bringing another memorable evening of music, pageantry, remembrance and performance to the Wrexham.

This year’s show, A Salute to the Sea Soldier, will place the Royal Marines Association Concert Band at centre stage, sharing powerful stories of Royal Marines and seafarers whose legacies are deeply rooted in Welsh history.

Audiences can look forward to a fantastic programme of live performance, blending military tradition, Welsh culture and musical excellence. The Concert Band will be joined by an outstanding line-up of guest performers, including Welsh classical singers and Britain’s Got Talent finalists Richard and Adam Johnson, alongside the Scots Guards Association Pipes and Drums.

The evening will also feature performances from Ava Gordon Butler and Sean Clark Wilkinson, as well as a host of traditional Welsh performers celebrating the nation’s rich cultural heritage. These include prize-winning Welsh clog dancer Dan Jones, traditional Welsh piper Tim Eastwood, and Tattoo Cymru newcomer, Welsh folk musician Geraint Owens.

Also performing will be the North West Veterans Corps of Drums, a non-profit, military-style music organisation providing peer support, mental wellbeing and community engagement for ex-service personnel and uniformed services, and Connah’s Quay Sea Cadets, TS Tuscan, strengthening the show’s links to maritime tradition, service and community.

Brought to you by Wrexham County Borough Council and GB Pageants, Tattoo Cymru has become a standout event in Wrexham’s events calendar, combining history, skill and spectacle in a way that continues to resonate with audiences of all ages.

Cllr Beverly Parry Jones, Armed Forces Champion for Wrexham County Borough Council said: “Tattoo Cymru is always a special occasion, and this year’s Salute to the Sea Soldier promises to be a powerful and memorable evening.

“It’s a wonderful way to bring people together, celebrate the talents of our military and community performers, and honour remarkable stories connected to Wales, the Royal Marines and seafaring history.”

Tickets for Tattoo Cymru 2026 are available now via the William Aston Hall website.
