Our hardworking staff play an essential role in the improvements we make to our properties.

Is this something you could do?Do you have the skills and attitude we’re looking for?

It’s through their dedication, expert planning and attention to detail that these improvements run smoothly, and now we’re looking for another two people to join our Housing and Economy team.

Is this something you could do?

We’re looking for two External Works Technicians to carry out detailed surveys and assist in the designs of a wide range of environmental works for our properties.

The successful people will enjoy finding solutions to problems by working as part of our team. Being hardworking and having excellent communication skills are a must in this role.

Eisteddfod Wrecsam 2025

This job is integral to how we look after our properties…is it something you could do?

To give you a better understanding of the job, some of the tasks our technicians get tasked with are:

• Carrying out feasibility surveys for small construction schemes, such as ‘on plot parking’.
• Assisting in our designs, including those for car park schemes, drainage schemes and other works.
• Preparing drawings and specifications for these schemes.
• Monitoring the progress of contractors at our sites.

We work in accordance with national and Wrexham County Borough regulations.

These are great opportunities for the right people and you’ll get excellent support.

Working for a council can be a good career option too – it usually comes with a pension, good leave allowance and relative stability.
