Guest article: Keep Wales Tidy

Nominations are now open for the Tidy Wales Awards 2025 sponsored by Wales & West Housing.

We’re delighted to be bringing back the Tidy Wales Awards in 2025 after a hugely successful event last year in Cardiff.

Dating back to 1990, the Tidy Wales Awards honours environmental heroes – the individuals, groups schools, and businesses that go above and beyond to care for our beautiful country.

Do you work tirelessly to keep your local area clean, green, and safe? Do you have a friend or family member who is dedicated to looking after nature? Maybe you know a group of young people championing food growing to combat food poverty? Or perhaps you’re part of an organisation that is leading the way in uniting the community in the name of sustainability? We want to hear from you!

This is the opportunity to celebrate and thank the people and businesses in Wales who are making a positive difference to our environment.

The finalists for each category will be invited to join us for the prestigious daytime Tidy Wales Awards ceremony on Thursday 2 October at Venue Cymru in Llandudno.

Nominations close 6pm on Monday 6 July.

Head to the Keep Wales Tidy website to find out more!
