Bank Street – LL11 1AH

A quaint, historic street loaded with independent businesses, you can visit Marrubis (the oldest café in Wrexham), or grab a coffee or snack here!

The epicentre for nightlife in Wrexham, high street boast a large number of restaurants and bars as well as many fast food outlets. Many are open in the day time so why not give them a visit?

Here you can find a friendly and fantastic food court where there’s a variety of culinary delights available such as  vegan options, homemade pies, curry, deserts, chicken wings and more from our independent food traders.

It also serves as a venue for arts, cultural and community events, as well as being a market and art gallery – it also was shortlisted for the prestigious ‘Museum of the Year’ award.

These are only suggestion of locations to eat. Walking around the City Centre you are likely to stumble upon a great range of places to eat including great Polish, Portuguese, Indian and Welsh cuisine.

What to see in Wrexham

St Giles Church – Ll13 8LS

The steeple at St Giles is one of the 7 wonders of Wales. The church is recognised as one of the finest examples of ecclesiastical architecture to be found in Wales.

A one stop information shop for Wrexham visitors. They can provide provide information on places to visit, things to do, places to eat and they have a range of crafts, gifts and Wrexham merchandise.

Wrexham Lager brewery – LL13 8DB

Tucked away on St George’s Crescent, Wrexham Lager brewery is where some of Wrexham’s most famous exports are made! You can visit the brewery shop for merchandise and the chance to taste some freshly brewed beer!

Xplore! Science Discovery Centre – LL13 8AE

The home of science in North Wales. You’ll find it full to the brim with science, exploration, and fun. Perfect for all ages.  Make sure you include a trip to Xplore! during your next visit to Wrexham.

Xplore! shop and café are open 7 days a week 9:30-16:30.

The Science Centre is open every weekend, bank holiday and Wrexham school holiday 9:30-16:30

During your visit to Wrexham you will likely hear many languages spoken. Welsh and English are Wales’ official languages. Most people in Wrexham understand English, but we love to encourage everyone to learn and speak a bit of Welsh. Here are a few Welsh words/Phrases:
