Building firms in Wrexham and the rest of North Wales are being invited to learn more about contract opportunities with local councils.

Every year, the six councils in North Wales – Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey – contract firms to do all kinds of building work, from repairs and maintenance to brand new construction projects.

But to be eligible in the future, firms will need to be on a list of pre-approved suppliers – called the North Wales Construction Framework.

Information events are being held in Mold and Caernarfon, and the councils are particularly keen to talk to small and medium sized businesses.

If your firm can potentially deliver projects worth between £250k and £2 million, you should get yourself along and find out more.

You’ll learn about the type of work that might be available, and how to apply to go on the framework.

The events are being held on the following dates:

• Tuesday, March 6 at The Beaufort Park Hotel in Mold (CH7 6RQ), starting at 8am.

• Thursday, March 8 at The Celtic Royal Hotel in Caernarfon (LL55 1AY), starting at 8am.

You only need to go one event and they’ll last for about two hours.

There’s no need to book a place. Just turn up on the day.

However, if you want to know more beforehand, call John Humphreys on 07831 515525 or Rob Beattie on 07590 710700.
