A spokesperson from Active Wrexham said, “It was great to see so many schools competing in the Welsh Schools FA Primary 5’s competition, the competition provided an excellent opportunity for all schools that entered to compete in a county wide event. It was made even more enjoyable seeing children with smiles on their faces and being active after the challenges they have faced due to the pandemic”.

A tournament will be run after the Easter holidays which will be the same format however this will be exclusively for girls to give them the opportunity to compete in tournament which will allow greater opportunities for girls to take part in sport.
