Come along to Wrexham’s first ever Pop-Up Reuse Shop on Monday 11 September from 9am till 2pm when Wrexham Council and FCC Environment, will be filling up a stand at the Wrexham City Centre Market on Queen’s Square with hundreds of pre-loved products!

There will be a large selection of good quality preowned items on offer such as homeware, toys, DVDs, games and electricals. All the items for sale have been donated for reuse at one of Wrexham’s three recycling centres.

Chloe Knowler of FCC Environment commented, “This is a first of its kind event for FCC Environment, Nightingale House, Wrexham Council and we are proud to be able to support sustainable initiatives in the community. For the last 7 years the Nightingale House Hospice working together with FCC staff have made the Reuse Shop on the Bryn Lane Recycling Centre a huge success. The Charity work hard to run the Reuse Shop and provide high quality products for their customers at a fraction of the price of buying new.”

Katie Roberts at the Nightingale House Hospice says, “We hope this event will raise awareness of the Nightingale House Hospice’s amazing services whilst bringing affordable products to you. The Pop-Up event will be a great opportunity for everyone to find out more about who we are and what we do and who knows, you may even find that bargain item you’ve been looking for!”

These events are a great way for people to support the amazing work that Nightingale House Hospice do every day for the local community, whilst also raising awareness of reuse and recycling, helping to reduce our environmental impact and take steps towards becoming a more sustainable community through increasing product lifetimes.
