Following a decision at its meeting on November 22, 2018, the Council has submitted its Local Development Plan (LDP) to the Welsh Government for Examination in Public.

Before this Examination can take place we want to give you the opportunity to comment on the “Focused Changes” – changes we want to make, based on the responses we received to our consultation.

These changes will be subject to a formal six-week public consultation between Monday, January 7 and 5pm on Monday, February 18.

Importantly, representations made at this stage must stick to the Focused Changes and should clearly express support or objection. Representations should not propose further changes. Any representations submitted at Deposit Stage do not need to be re-submitted.

APPLY FOR A SEPTEMBER 2019 NURSERY SCHOOL PLACE

You can take part here.

The Examination will then be carried out by an independent inspector who will decide whether the Plan is fundamentally ‘sound’.

The Inspector will assess the soundness of the Plan as a whole rather than simply considering individual objections, and will base her judgement on the evidence available, the representations made and the particular circumstance of the Plan and the area.

The Submission Documents can be viewed here.

The closing date for 2019 nursery school applications is February 22
