The June Street Festival is set to take place and it’s going to be a summer sizzler! This month they have joined forces with AVOW who will be holding their Volunteers’ Day on Queen’s Square.

There’ll be all the usual great stalls and activities,community groups, organisations and performers who will come together for one big celebration for town centre visitors to enjoy.
Techniquest will be open once again in the old TJ Hughes’ building where you can go and see even bigger and better exhibitions – you won’t be disappointed with their Family Fun Science Pop-Up!
Tŷ Pawb will be joining in the fun with a day long programme of events including the World Cup Sticker Swap Shop, the opening of two new exhibitions “Wrexham is the Name” and “Nascent Inclinations” (university graduate showcase) Saturday Art Club, Youth Services will be celebrating Youth Work Week by showcasing all the fantastic services available to young people in the area which will include live music and free craft activities for children. There’ll be a “Big Busk Showcase” with live music between 11am and 5pm and of course there’s two world cup matches, France v Argentina and Uruguay v Portugal, on the big screen.

The event takes place between 10am and 4pm with the Nascent Inclinations exhibition officially opening at 5pm.
