  • 3. Claim a council tax exemption
  • 4. Claim a council tax refund
  • 5. View your council tax bill

So you might want do business with Wrexham Council online?

There are loads of things you can do through our MyAccount service, saving you time and effort.

GET INSTANT NEWS AND INFO FROM WREXHAM COUNCIL WITH MYUPDATES.

1. Set up a council tax direct debit

Quicker and easier than doing it over the counter or phone (you can do it at home in front of the TV for starters).

And you’ll never have to worry about forgetting to make a payment.

2. Update your council tax if you change address

If you move home, just log-in and update your records. No hassle.

3. Claim a council tax exemption

We don’t want you to pay anything you shouldn’t be paying.

So if you think you qualify for an exemption on your council tax, just apply online.

4. Claim a council tax refund

Like we say, we don’t want you to pay anything you shouldn’t 🙂

5. View your council tax bill

Paperwork. Filing. Not everybody’s cup of tea.

But when you sign-up for MyAccount, you can keep track of your council tax payments without having to sift through that shoe-box full of crumpled-up bills and statements.

6. Claim housing benefit

If you pay rent and / or council tax and live on a low income, you might be entitled to Housing Benefit (which means you could pay less).

If you think you might be, just apply online.

Life’s too short to spend precious time on the blower or filling-in paper forms (and you’ll never get those minutes back).
