FOCUS Wales is proud to announce Gaz Coombes as an additional headliner to the already jam-packed 2018 line-up. Coombes will perform an intimate solo show at the William Aston Hall, Wrexham on Saturday 12th May, following the release of his new album World’s Strongest Man (out 4th May 2018).

For nearly two decades with Supergrass, Gaz Coombes came to embody the oddball end of British indie and Britpop, but it is through his new solo work that he has found himself. With his 2015 album Matador, he presented a new musical identity: wide-screen, emotional, cinematic and full of artistic surprises. It earned him a Mercury Prize nomination. “With Matador I almost got it right…” he says.  With World’s Strongest Man, Coombes brings that solo self into dazzling definition.

Tickets for this show are on sale now via www.focuswales.com/tickets
Festival pass holders can attend this show at no extra cost (subject to venue capacity).

Festival Passes are on sale for just £40 via www.focuswales.com/tickets
and also from at Bank St Coffee, Wrexham, and The Leader Shop, Wrexham.

FOCUS Wales 2018 takes place over 10th, 11th, 12th May across multiple venues in Wrexham, North Wales. Full 3 day wristbands for admission to all FOCUS Wales events are available now at http://www.focuswales.com/tickets from £40 each.

FOCUS Wales is supported by Arts Council of Wales and Welsh Government and Wrexham County Borough Council.
