Wrexham residents will get a chance to discuss climate change this month at a drop-in session which takes place at Tŷ Pawb.

The Climate Conversation drop-in session has been funded by Welsh Government, and the event provides a casual and welcoming space for locals to meet, chat, and share thoughts about the current and future impacts of climate change in Wrexham.

Date: December 14, 2023

Time: 3pm – 5pm

Location: Tŷ Pawb

At the Climate Conversation you can expect…

Casual chats: Join fellow community members for relaxed discussions on what’s happening with climate change in Wrexham.

Future focus: Explore together the future challenges and opportunities related to climate change in our community.

Open to all: Everyone is welcome! No need for prior knowledge – just bring your curiosity and ideas.

We look forward to hearing your ideas over some conversation and refreshments!

Cllr David A Bithell, Deputy Leader and Climate Champion, said: “This event is part of our commitment to creating a space for local voices to be heard on climate issues. We encourage Wrexham residents to come together to talk about the changes we’re experiencing and the positive steps we can take.”

Wales Climate Week 2023

Wales Climate Week 2023 takes place December 4-8 and it offers us an opportunity to hold a national conversation on climate change.

Wales Climate Week 2023 will feature a 5-day virtual conference examining the impacts of climate change on different people, groups, organisations and places, and will explore how the benefits associated with new climate policies are distributed fairly across society.

Anyone who visits the Wales Climate Week website can register online to receive updates on the programme and attend the virtual conference.

You can learn more about this by reading our recent news blog.
