International Spirit Festival is taking over Queens Square on Saturday July 13th,between 12pm-5pm with a series of spectacular outdoor dance performances, engaging walkabouts and amazing world food stalls! There’s something for everyone at this fantastic free family friendly event.

Paallam Arts, Wrexham based performing arts organization, is producing SPIRIT FEST’24 for the second year, the festival is supported by Art Council Wales, Wrexham Shared Prosperity fund, Diverse Cymru,North East Wales Multicultural hub, Wrexham Council, Race Council Cymru, Tŷ Pawb and more.

SPIRIT FEST ‘24 is a two day festival, which offers schools a GO-SEE & PARTICIPATE opportunity on July 12th, at Ty Pawb to learn new skills and watch a Welsh dance production exclusively produced for children by North Wales Dance collective CIC  with the support of Art council Wales, Eisteddfod and more

On Saturday 13th July, from 12pm Queens Square will be transformed into a vibrant space filled with local, national and international dancers. Local dance schools will also be showcasing their work, along with a series of food stalls, community stalls, and accessible space for all to enjoy.

Artists set to feature include  WISP Dance club Wrexham, Hip hop Cymru Wrexham, Osian Meilir, Nirthya Pillai, Krystal Lowe, Ayodhana Kalarippayattu Gurukkul and more.  Audiences can expect a series of highly accomplished international, national and local artist performances at the heart of Wrexham.

Krishnapriya Ramamoorthy, the producer and director of Paallam Arts said, “We are committed to creating access to high quality dance performance to the community. SPIRIT FEST ‘24, creates a unique opportunity for communities to: engage with dance in an open set-up and interact with artists in a friendly environment. We are keen on building interest around dance and movement art and this take us one step closer to our mission”
