Drivers are being reminded to park responsibly in Wrexham city centre.

Council officers are dealing with cars parked incorrectly or inconsiderately, while North Wales Police are supporting this by addressing vehicles that are causing an obstruction or parked dangerously.

Councillor Mark Pritchard, Leader of the Council, with responsibility for parking enforcement, said: “Some drivers have been indiscriminately parking their vehicles, causing obstructions and blocking roads.

“We really don’t want to be ticketing people, but when drivers park inconsiderately and create safety concerns for pedestrians and other road users, we have no choice but to issue them with a parking fine.

“Both the council and police are asking everyone to park safely and legally, and help keep our roads safe for everyone.”
