This Christmas, the Armed Forces Community Carol Service returns for its third year.
The free event will take place at St Giles Church on Thursday, December 4 starting at 7pm, and everyone is welcome.
Councillor Beverley Parry Jones, Wrexham Council’s Armed Forces Champion, said: “Once again, Wrexham is promised a lovely evening full of Christmas spirit and music. Wrexham has such strong links with the armed forces, and we want to do something special to both celebrate Christmas and pay tribute. Let’s celebrate the season and show our support for those who serve and have served.
“We’d love to see as many veterans and members of the public as possible so please come along and help make this a fantastic evening.”
Highlights of the event include:
- Music from the City of Wrexham Brass Band
- Performances by local school choirs
- A parade of standards by local veterans’ associations
Once again this special evening will be held in support of Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity dedicated to bereaved British Forces children and young people. It promises to be a heartwarming celebration of community, remembrance, and festive spirit.
