As part of our commitment to making sustainable travel more accessible, we’re proud to offer convenient and affordable charging solutions for our residents.
We work in partnership with Costelloes to deliver, operate and maintain over 140 EV charging points across the county borough, and if you’re a Wrexham resident you can get 20% off using them.
20% off – how does it work?
To take advantage of the 20% discount, you just need to head over to Costelloes website and follow the simple steps to apply.
Then once you’ve completed these steps, you’ll be able to use the Clenergy App to pay for discounted charging across our network.
“A very positive initiative”
Cllr David A Bithell, Deputy Leader with responsibility for climate change, said: “We want to support people in switching to using electric vehicles, and the 20% discount on using our chargers for Wrexham residents is a very positive initiative.
“We’re looking to add even more high quality and reliable chargepoints to our network too, which will allow people to feel more confident when making the decision to switch.”

No charger near to you?
If you feel that your local area or street would benefit from a public EV charger, please let us know by emailing decarbonisation@wrexham.gov.uk and we will assess your request to see if it’s suitable.
