A new and unique store for Wrexham

Ashley Vaughan-Pearson, Manager of Gallery 01, said: “We are very pleased that we’ve managed to secure one of the shop units at Tŷ Pawb. The current state of the shopping scene in Wrexham has made room for shops like ourselves to pave the way for more independent outlets that can bring something new and unique to the town.

“Not everyone wants to buy clothes online these days. They want to be able to see, feel and try on the items and to get friendly, face to face service from the staff who work there.

“I’m also delighted that my sister, Lea, has been able to join us for the opening. She works as a HART (Hazardous Area Response Team) First Response paramedic in Manchester and actually received a Woman of the Year award in 2017 for being one of the first responders at the Manchester Arena bombing.

“2018 is the year of the woman and this is a shop that specializes in women’s clothing and accessories so there was no one more ideal and inspirational i could think of to help me open the shop than Lea.”

More new businesses opening at Tŷ Pawb

Gallery 01 is one of three new business to open at Tŷ Pawb in the last few weeks. The other two include Kamilla Hair Studio, and Teenage Wildlife, which stocks an eclectic collection of vinyl records and retro clothing.

The Mayor said: “I’m delighted to see another high quality retailer moving into Tŷ Pawb. The stock here looks really fabulous and I’m sure new visitors will be very impressed with what’s on offer. Three new businesses opening at Tŷ Pawb is very positive news for Wrexham and another step in the right direction to put us firmly on the map of attractive shopping destinations.”

Lead Member for People – Communities, Partnerships Public Protection and Community Safety, Cllr Hugh Jones, said: “It’s very pleasing to see the market stalls at Tŷ Pawb now occupied with such a variation of eclectic businesses. There is truly something here for everyone and I hope this will help to continue to attract new visitors over the summer and grow Tŷ Pawb’s reputation as a landmark attraction in the town.

“The combination of markets, arts and community events at Tŷ Pawb is a great achievement for the town and something we are very proud of.”

Gallery 01 is open from 10am-5:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:30am-5:30pm on a Saturday.
