In January, community sporting clubs across Wrexham were invited to bid to the Community Chest for funding to get more people involved with their club and to improve standards.
As a result 57 community clubs were successful with their bid and have received funding to develop their sport totalling £66,000.
The funding will now ensure that over 300 coach education courses in 13 sports will take place.
The Community Chest is a Sport Wales initiative for community sport and physical activity.
It is available to any community group or sports club that hold a Bank or Building Society in the organisation’s name.
