Members of the executive board have supported the creation of a Joint Member/Officer Working Group on the Cost of Living Crisis, made up of 10 Elected Members and politically balanced which will be meeting within two weeks. The purpose of the group is to jointly support residents given the significant rise in the cost of living crisis.

Leader of the Council Mark Pritchard and Lead Member for Finance said, These are very challenging times and I am pleased that we have set up this group.
