This half term, Wrexham Library are celebrating everyone’s favourite elephant, Elmer!

Throughout half term, May 26 – June 2, there will be all manner of craft activities including making Elmer bunting and Elmer ears, and pinning the trunk on Elmer – as well as an Elmer-themed treasure hunt!

Activities are free and take place all day every day at the library. No need to book!

GO GREEN. OPT FOR PAPERLESS COUNCIL TAX BILLS…

Storytime (Tuesday 2-2.30pm) and Stori a Chân (Wednesday 10-10.30am) that week will also feature an Elmer story. Children are invited to dress up in their brightest clothes to help us celebrate this loveable elephant.

Created by David McKee, Elmer was first published by Andersen Press in 1989. Since then, Elmer’s iconic patchwork and playful character have made him a firm favourite in millions of households across the world. Elmer encourages children to accept others’ differences and practice tolerance and kindness. We look forward to seeing you during half term!
