Working in business support involves being exceptionally well organised and giving a high quality service to your department and residents of the county borough.

What I’ll needSounds good?

Simply put, our business support assistants are essential to the smooth running of their department.

If this sounds something you could do, you’ll want to read on, as we’re advertising for a Business Support Assistant to work in our Finance Department’s Income Maximisation Unit.

It’s a permanent position and it’s full-time (37hrs per week).

What I’ll need

Located in Lambpit Street, your main duties will include assisting in updating our information systems, typing-up information, and some other office duties…so good computer skills are a must!

You’ll need to be able to show some experience of working with Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel.

You’ll also be the first point of contact for clients, professional staff and any organisations who make enquiries to the Unit…your customer service skills will be on-point as you take responsibility for booking appointments and diary management.

So you’ll need excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus it goes without saying that you’ll need to have decent numerical skills to work in our finance department 😉
