Wrexham County Borough Council is currently preparing a new 10-year Welsh in Education Strategic Plan (WESP) for 2022-2032, and we are carrying out a consultation on our draft plan, which has been prepared in accordance with Welsh Government guidance.

Work in social care and be the lifeline your community needs.

The draft plan sets out our vision for Welsh-medium education, our targets and the actions we believe will lead to achieving the seven required outcomes.

The aim is to increase the use of Welsh in education over the next 10 years.

These outcomes will also contribute towards achieving the Welsh Government’s Cymraeg 2050 Strategy, which aims to have one million Welsh speakers by 2050.

Our consultation on the plan for 2022-2032 comes to an end on the 31st of December 2021 and we are eager to hear your views.

Cllr Phil Wynn, the council’s Lead Member for Education, said “The more responses we have for this consultation, the better placed we will be to assess the views of Wrexham residents, so please take part.Diolch”

You can respond through our website http://www.yourvoicewrexham.net/project/605

If you’re looking for a new career and want to help people in your community, a job in social care could be the right move.
