We’re currently advertising for a Health and Safety Compliance Officer to work in our housing repairs service within the Housing and Economy department.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll work alongside managers and supervisors to ensure our health, safety and welfare arrangements are strong.
You’ll make sure the service is compliant with its health and safety responsibilities, and look at ways to improve our compliance.
A BAD DEAL FROM WELSH GOVERNMENT MEANS WE’RE FORCED TO MAKE MORE CUTS. HAVE YOUR SAY…
You’ll investigate incidents and near misses and carry out inspections to ensure things are as they should be out on site.
You’ll develop and deliver training, attend meetings and look to maintain a safe and healthy business environment.
Most importantly, you’ll champion the delivery of our services and always look to improve the health and safety environment 🙂

What you need
You need experience of providing advice and support in construction and/or a direct labour organisation.
You need experience of giving advice and guidance to managers at all levels within an organisation as well as front-line operatives.
