Work on Tŷ Pawb – the new £4.2million arts, markets and community centre in the former Peoples Market on Chester Street – continues apace, with the new facility to open on Dydd Llun Pawb in April.
We at Wrexham Council News had the chance to take a look around ongoing work on the site, with structural and renovation work carried out by Wynn Construction – see some of the pictures below.

Individual stallholder areas have been built and partitioned, along with open areas and the main gallery.
Work also progresses on a two-story window and entryway, which will allow access and light into the building from Market Street.
Painting has also started on the outside of the building, with further renovation work to come.
Cllr Hugh Jones, Lead Member for Communities, Partnerships, Public Protection and Community Safety, said: “We know that work at Tŷ Pawb will be very much of interest of the general public, and that people are keen to know what’s going on inside the building while work takes place.
“I’m very pleased to report that work progresses on schedule, and we remain on target for our official opening on Dydd Llun Pawb.”
